You can add a test to any pipeline stage in a job opening. You can either choose to add a test from a pre-made template (that you can later customize), or to create a test from scratch.
Creating a test from a template
Select “Add interview or test” in the stage you are adding a test
Choose “Test”
Search for a template that matches the role you're hiring for (e.g. Frontend developer, Sales representative)
When you click on a template, you will see more information about the test along with example questions
Once you find the template you would like to use, select “Use this test”
At this point, a test is auto-generated for you. You can review your test and customize any element you would like to change, such as:
Turning on or off “randomize”
Adding more questions or taking questions away
When adding new questions, you can either create a custom question or choose from Toggl Hire’s test library
Customizing the landing page and test results page
Reviewing the test settings
Creating a test from scratch
Select “Add interview or test” in the stage you want to add a test
Choose “Test”
Select “Create a custom test” next to the search bar
At this point a blank slate is generated and you will choose how you want to add questions to your skills test. You can choose to add a skill from Toggl’s library, or create a custom question.
