Depending on how a candidate is invited to a test, the not invited button might not update accordingly.

If you email a candidate inviting them to a test with one of regular contact email buttons, the system will not know what you've emailed them about (for example, you could be rejecting them, emailing them an update on their application, etc.). Therefore, the not invited tag would not update in this case, even if you have invited them to that test in your email.

If you want to be sure that all tags are updated as you invite a candidate to a test, use the "invite candidate" module.
