Each job opening in Toggl Hire includes a fully customizable job description and application form. This form allows you to manage your entire hiring process from start to finish, right within Toggl Hire!

Editing the Job description and Application Form

Job description

To get started, you’ll need to tailor the job description and application form to fit your company’s needs. Simply click on the "Job description" to open the editor for both the description and the application form.

Start with your job description. The editor comes with a pre-built template to help you write a quality job description. You can adjust the content to reflect your role requirements and company culture. Additionally, this section allows you to:

  • Change the company logo

  • Update the cover photo

Application Form

In the application form, you can choose the information you want candidates to provide. Tick the box to include a field in the form. Each field you add to the form can be set as mandatory or optional. Note that First Name, Last Name, and Email are always mandatory fields.

You can also include custom application questions to gather more insight from candidates. Available question types include:

  • Paragraph

  • Short answer

  • Single choice

  • Multiple choice

For each question, you can choose whether it's mandatory or optional, giving you flexibility in what information to collect.

Preview and Share Your Job Posting

Once you've finalized the job description and application form, you can preview the final version by clicking on "Open job page." This will show you exactly what candidates will see when they apply, allowing you to ensure everything is just right.

Since Toggl Hire doesn’t provide a built-in job board, you'll need to link your job listing to your own careers page (or similar) on your website, such as this.

Managing candidates

All candidates who apply for the job will appear in the "Applied" stage of your candidate pipeline. To view their full application, simply click on the candidate’s card.

If you'd like to move a candidate forward in your hiring process, drag their card to the next pipeline stage. While there are currently no automations between stages, we’re actively working on new features to improve this process. If you have ideas or specific feature requests, we’d love to hear from you! You can reach us via the in-app chat or by emailing support@hire.toggl.com.
