What’s happening

From December 2nd, some changes are coming to Toggl Hire’s plans. We are introducing a basic plan and restructuring our existing plans and subscriptions.

Why we’re making changes

Here’s the short version:

For years, we’ve offered a ton of value for lower than industry standards. Unlimited usages for lots of features, and even unlimited support. We want to make our pricing as competitive as we can. This new pricing structure will reflect the needs of our customers while continuing to provide new, innovative features such as our new Video Intros.

How exactly are the plans changing?

From December 2nd, Toggl Hire will change in the following ways:

  • New annual subscriptions. Save more by switching now. Switch to the annual plan by December 31 and receive 25% off your first annual subscription. The remaining portion of your last payment will be refunded to your account as credit which will then be applied to your new annual subscription.

  • Changes to active paying accounts. With the restructuring of the plans, we want you to enjoy the same great benefits that you are used to…..And more! All active paying accounts on December 2, will receive a free upgrade. That is, if you are currently on our Standard plan, you will be upgraded to the Premium plan. If you are already on the Premium plan, you will be upgraded to the new Business plan.

  • Quarterly plans have been exhausted. Our new subscriptions will only consist of annual and monthly plans.

  • What happens to my quarterly subscription? On your renewal date, you will be switched over to monthly. Your current price will remain the same; however, you’ll be billed on a monthly basis on the same renewal date.

  • Your current price is locked in. Your price will not change; however, if you were to cancel your subscription and return, you will return at our new pricing.

  • New Basic plan. To better cater to smaller teams, we’ve created this basic plan with a compact set of features. It is only available on an annual subscription.

  • Workspaces will have user seat limitations. Each plan will be limited to the number of users that will be allowed. If you are currently over the allowable number of users for your plan, you will be allowed to keep them but won't be able to add any additional users unless you upgrade.

  • Workspaces will have active test limitations. Each plan will be limited to the number of tests they can have open/active. If you are currently over the allowable number of active tests for your plan, you will be able to keep them but won't be able to create any new tests unless you upgrade.
