Interview scorecards help your team structure interviews, take consistent notes, and evaluate candidates in a standardized way. They’re especially useful when multiple interviewers are involved, ensuring a fairer and more aligned process.

💡 Note: Scorecards are available on all paid plans. On the free plan, interviewers can still leave notes, but scoring is disabled.

How to create a scorecard

  1. Go to the Jobs section and open a specific job.

  2. Navigate to the pipeline stage where you want to add an interview.

  3. Click + Add test or interview and choose Interview.

  4. In the interview questions and scorecard section, click Add interview questions.

  5. Toggle on/off turn into scorecard evaluation section.

  6. Use the editor to add sections and descriptions.

Each section can include:

  • A title (e.g. “Introduction” or “Personality”)

  • A description and guiding questions for the interviewer

Use the + Add Section button to include more sections as needed. Click Save when you’re done.

During the interview

To access a scorecard during the interview:

  1. Go to the candidate’s card in your Workspace.

  2. Under Tests and interviews, open the Interview tab.

  3. Click Evaluate.

Interviewers will see each section with:

  • The description or question prompts

  • A space to add notes

  • A 1–5 score selector (if scorecards are enabled)

  • A required overall recommendation

After the interview

Once the interview is complete, click Submit evaluation. You can still edit your evaluation later, even after submission.

All notes and ratings are saved under the Interview tab on the candidate’s profile. To reduce bias, other team members' evaluations remain collapsed until you click to expand them. This makes it easier to run structured, unbiased interviews, and helps your team make more confident hiring decisions.
