Does Toggl Hire Support SSO? (Single Sign-On)
Toggl Hire does not currently support enterprise-level SSO (such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or SAML-based authentication). However, there are alternative secure login methods available:
1. Google & Apple Login
You can log into Toggl Hire using Google or Apple authentication. If your company uses Google Workspace, this can serve as a workaround for SSO-like access, allowing employees to log in with their Google credentials.
🚨 Important: Admins cannot enforce Google or Apple login across their organization. Users can choose to sign in this way, but there is no way to require it for all users.
2. Passkeys for Secure, Passwordless Login
Toggl Hire supports passkeys, a modern authentication method that lets you log in without a password. Passkeys can be secured using:
Biometrics (e.g., Face ID, fingerprint scanning)
Device-based security (2FA)
A password manager
3. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via Google/Apple
Toggl Hire does not have built-in 2FA. However, if you log in using Google or Apple, you can enable 2FA through your account settings for added security. We are actively working on adding 2FA to our authentication methods.
Key Limitations
Admins cannot enforce Google or Apple login for all users.
